GROWING PAINS DATE LOAF
Low Fat Loaf Option
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup dates
1 cup boiling water
2 tblsp golden syrup
2 tsp Sucaryl
l liquid sweetener
1 tsp Hansells Baking soda
1 tsp Hansells Vanilla Essence
2 cups wholemeal flour
INSTRUCTIONS:
Chop dates and place in bowl large enough to mix all the ingredients and pour over boiling water.
Add golden syrup, Sucaryl, baking soda and vanilla essence.
Pour mixture into a baking paper lined 21 x 11cm loaf tin. Bake at 180°C for 35 to 45 minutes or until loaf springs back when lightly touched.
