VANILLA BEAN PANNA COTTA WITH VANILLA DRIZZLE
Impress your guests with this restaurant quality dessert.
SERVING SIZE:
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
½ cup milk
10g sachet gelatin
600ml cream
½ cup caster sugar
2 tablespoons Hansells Gourmet Vanilla
Extra Gourmet Vanilla
4 vanilla pods
SERVING SUGGESTION:
For an extra special touch, turn out Panna cottas on to Vanilla and White Chocolate Wafers (see our website for recipe).
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place milk in a bowl and sprinkle over gelatin. Place 400ml of cream and caster sugar in a saucepan and heat until reduced by a third. Mix the milk and gelatin into the hot cream until gelatin has dissolved. Stir in Gourmet Vanilla. Lightly whip remaining cream and fold into setting cream mixture. Wet four individual moulds or ramekins and fill with panna cotta mixture. Refrigerate until set. To serve, unmould panna cottas onto two Vanilla and White Chocolate Wafers (see our website for recipe). Drizzle with extra Gourmet Vanilla and serve with an extra wafer if wished, garnished with a vanilla bean.
