NAME PLACE STARS
Place these on your tablecloth or on a plate for your Christmas table

INGREDIENTS:
400 g packet sweet short pastry
12 cm star shape cutter or cardboard template
Hansells Red food Colouring
Hansells Green Food Colouring
Icing:
2 cups icing sugar
1-2 drops Hansells Red or Green Food Colouring
3-4 tablespoons water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Roll out pastry on a lightly floured board to 0.5 cm thicknessCut out star shapes using the cutter or cut around the cardboard templateReroll pastry scraps and cut out more starsPlace on a baking tray and brush with food colouringBake at 180°C for 15 minutesCool on a wire rackWhen cold, place icing in a small plastic bag, snip off the corner of the bag and pipe the name of each guest for your Christmas meal on a starDecorate with silver cachous or other edible decorationsLeave to dry Icing:Mix icing sugar, food colouring and enough water together to make a pipeable icing
