LEMON SYRUP
Great syrup to have on hand - drizzle over icecream, or freshly baked muffins
SERVING SIZE:
Makes 1.5 litres
INGREDIENTS:
750g (3 cups) sugar 1.2 litres boiling water
25g (2tbsps) Hansells Tartaric Acid
Rind and juice of 3 lemons or 1 tsp Hansells Lemon Essence
SERVING SUGGESTION:
Dilute:- 1 part syrup + 3 parts water. For a pleasant effervescent drink stir in approximately ½ teaspoon King Baking Soda.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rind and juice of 3 lemons or 1 tsp Hansells Lemon EssenceDissolve sugar and tartaric acid in boiling water. Stir in lemon juice and rind or the essence.
