GLAZE FOR HAM

A simple glaze that is sure to impress at christmas time

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Aunt Betty's Sensational Toffee Sauce
1/4 cup grainy mustard
1/4 cup whiskey
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

TO GLAZE A HAM:

Preheat the oven to 160ºC
Weight the ham and calculate the cooking time. Allow 10 minutes per 500g.
Remove the skin from a cooked ham. Score the surface by making diamond cuts about 5mm deep.
Mix the glaze ingredients together.
Brush the glaze over the ham.
Place the ham in a large roasting dish and cook in preheated oven.
Brush with the glaze 3-4 times during cooking
