EASTER ICED BISCUITS

Fun to decorate with the kids

INGREDIENTS:

1½ Cups Icing sugar
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon Hansells Vanilla Essence
3 tablespoons boiling water
250g packet milk arrowroot biscuits
Topping
1½ Cups Icing sugar
1 teaspoon butter
½ teaspoon Hansells Raspberry Essence
2 drops Hansells red food colouring
3 tablespoons hot water
 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sift icing sugar into a bowl. Add butter, vanilla essence and water. Stir until icing is smooth.Spread one teaspoon of icing onto one biscuit and place an uniced biscuit on top. Repeat with remaining biscuits and icing.ToppingSift icing sugar into a bowl.Add butter, raspberry essence, red colouring and water. Stir until icing is smooth.Spread icing over the top of biscuits. Make up extra icing and colour green or yellow.Decorate biscuits with Easter Bunny faces.Piping IcingMix icing sugar and enough water together to make a pipeable icingMix in one or two drops of Hansells food colouring.Place icing in a plastic bag and cut a small piece off the corner of the bag.Pipe decorations as wished.
