BRAN COOKIES
Low fat cookie recipe
SERVING SIZE:
Makes about 20
INGREDIENTS:
100g butter
2 eggs
1 tsp Hansells Vanilla Essence
2 tsp Sucaryl liquid sweetener
¼ cup sultanas
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp Hansells Baking Powder
½ cup breakfast bran
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt butter in a saucepan large enough to mix all the ingredients. Cool slightly. Mix in eggs, vanilla and Sucaryl. Mix until combined. Add sultanas and sift in flour and baking powder. Using a measuring spoon, measure a heaped tablespoonful of mixture and drop into bran flakes. Toss to coast. Place on a greased oven tray and flatten slightly with a fork. Allow room for spreading. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes or until golden.
