Hansells Baking Soda is a raising agent for baking. Baking soda reacts with acidic ingredients (such as lemon juice or yoghurt) to release carbon dioxide bubbles which makes baking rise.
Hansells Baking Soda also helps to regulate pH which means it is great at neutralising, deodorising and cleaning. Sprinkle Hansells Baking Soda from the shaker top onto a clean damp cloth and use as a non toxic cleaner.
