Hansells Baking Soda is a raising agent for baking. Baking soda reacts with acidic ingredients (such as lemon juice or yoghurt) to release carbon dioxide bubbles which help make baking rise. Hansells baking soda also helps to regulate pH which means it is great at neutralising, deodorising and cleaning.
