Nutritionally balanced and versatile, Alfa One Rice Bran Oil is naturally light and clean tasting. It contains the plant sterol oryzanol which has been shown to help the body reduce cholesterol absorption. Alfa One Rice Bran Oil is high in antioxidants such as vitamin E and high in ‘good’ mono and polyunsaturated fats. With a high smoke point of 250oC its ideal for frying, barbecuing, grilling, stir fries and great for non-stick baking. Alfa One Rice Bran Oil is made from rice crops that are 100% GM free.
Now available in a spread, Alfa One Rice Bran Oil Spread is produced using only rice bran oil, and is not mixed with palm oil or other vegetable oils. The emulsifier in Alfa One which makes up less than than 1% of the total product is currently sourced from palm oil. Our policy is to try and eliminate palm oil from our emulsifier in the long term. Alfa One Rice Bran Oil Spread contains all the goodness of rice bran oil yet tastes, cooks and melts just like butter. It is not hydrogenised like margarine and so is free of trans fats. Alfa One Rice Bran Oil is the natural alternative to butter.
